Lillian's work has been published by Corella Press and Island magazine. In 2021 she was shortlisted in the Queensland Literary Awards for an Emerging Queensland Writer. More recently, she was selected for a mentorship with the Australian Society of Authors.

Lillian has an intensely burning flame for library books and baking cakes beyond her skill level. Besides reading and writing, she cares for an abundance of houseplants and embroiders. Usually, Sailor Moon is on in the background.
